Our traditional practices can and often do stifle curiosity and creativity. We unknowingly trade them in, in order to fit in and be accepted. We unwittlingly hand cultural expectations to our children of who they should be and how they should show up in the world.
When we honor our own uniqueness we step into our natural curiosity and cultivate our own creative expression of who we want to be in the world.
We want to encourage our children to think for themselves, to have their own ideas, and discover their own unique gifts.
