Marc and Rob from Java the Hut coffee dropped in to spill the beans... pun intended.. on the coffee business, what makes them tick, and their shared love of bikes. Rob also tells us all about his rock and roll life as a death metal rocker, and former tattooist.
Java the hut is one of Ireland's best coffee roasteries, Founded in 2009 by Marc and Emer Hynes, Java the Hut Coffee, started selling coffee at Farmers Markets and Food Shows. After great success they won the tender with Irish Rail to set up coffee shop at Balbriggan Train Station where we currently retail from Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm.
Building strong links with coffee growers and suppliers along with a passion for coffee tasting and roasting, in 2018, Java the Hut opened a Micro Roastery. Based in Balbriggan, North County Dublin and the first in North Fingal. Their coffee is craft-roasted in small batches ensuring freshness and allows them to maintain the highest quality standards.
