We chat about being in Shameless and playing relatable characters and portraying the working class, relocating to Australia after touring with a play, the Maguire Family whatsapp chat, a chance job thanks to an casting director coming outside for a cigarette, being in The Bill, going to Drama School for the opportunities; not the education, his new tv show ‘The Flats’, trying to navigate escaping the anxiety of being in one of the biggest TV shows in the UK whilst being instantly recognisable and accessible to the public on nights out and the person that took the wrong toiletry bag to work and ended up with no stage makeup and a dildo and some lube.
