In our inaugural episode, we were joined by Carbonbase CEO and founder, Max Song. Max gave us a deep dive into the world of climate change, fintech and entrepreneurship. We discussed how Carbonbase provides the easiest way for individuals and businesses to take effective actions against Climate Change, using our blockchain-backed technology to calculate Carbon Footprints, purchase Carbon Offsets, and provide rewards for doing so. Max brings to the table a plethora of accomplishments including working at NASA and in Silicon Valley, receiving the Schwarzman Scholarship, and in addition to being the CEO and Founder of Carbonbase, is currently writing a PhD thesis on Climate Change and Financial Governance in the Public Policy Department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
