A British recording artist born in Croydon and raised in the midlands of Nottingham, she was gifted her first keyboard at the tender age of 3.
Her path soon became clear with a keen ear and rich musical & cultural influences from her Caribbean, English and Greek roots. Finding inspiration within her own life experiences she developed to magically encapsulate a uniquely soulful, blues and R&B sound.
Signed to EMI & Universal records
she released her self-titled debut EP in 2009, followed by her debut album ‘Devil in Me’ recorded at Peter Gabriel’s renowned Real World Studios in 2012 to critical acclaim.
Appearing on TV shows as BBC’s Later with Jools Holland and Band by Royal Appointment for legendary drum & bass artist Goldie, tour supports soon followed for the likes of British rock band Muse.
Prolific song writing & compositions showcase sweeping string pads, rhythmic horn arrangements, strong melodies and charismatic grooves. Combined with accomplished piano playing and soaring vocals, agreeable comparisons have been made to global artists Stevie Wonder & Aretha Franklin.
Her most recent album titled ‘Free’ emerged in 2020 with a forthcoming new album release to follow later this year.
