Description

In today’s episode, Casey and I discuss training for strength rather than training for a certain physique or to maintain certain aesthetics. We also will debunk the fear of women getting “bulky”. Additionally, Casey and I have a wonderful conversation on how to navigate nutrition information online or in the media. Who is actually qualified and who can be trusted? Finally, Casey shares some of her top tips on how to maintain balance in life as she works several jobs, works hard in the gym, is a student, has a social life, and so much more. Therefore, she has some great insight into this that you won’t want to miss. Ultimately, Casey is extremely well-spoken, knowledgeable in her field, and she provides a wealth of advice along with tangible goals that we can all apply to our lives.
Casey is a Personal Trainer & Dietetic Intern. She graduated from Ohio State with a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics & is currently in grad school at Ohio University for a Master's in Nutrition. Casey currently works as an Educator at Lululemon and is an online training and nutrition coach. In her free time, she enjoys strength training (lifting heavy weights, of course), reading, writing + journaling, & creating fun & educational content to share on social media!
