Thought work is powerful and amazing at alleviating anxiety but often many of us who have heavy duty anxiety, panic attacks, etc. can’t always access the parts of our brain that we need to do thought-work. So going to our breath or body first in those moments can help regulate our system and get us back to being able to access our frontal lobe and do the thought-work.
