Am in survival mode?
How do I know?

Survival mode is something we can be in for months, if not years with very little awareness. So If you are experiencing any of the tells in this post, PLEASE take steps to take RADICAL care of yourself.

We can find ourselves in Survival mode for many reasons:

- PTSD flair up
- Unsafe situation
- Chronic, unresolved stress

Most of the time we think we're ok - but actually we're not.
You can't think you're way out of stress. you need to get back into feeling safe in the body and deal with the cause of activation.
Survival mode is the nervous system response shouting for help.

If you're noticing physical ailments like IBS, jaw tension, neck tension, insomnia, rotator cuff issues, knee problems etc - please reach out for help.
