Saida Barre, also known as Sai Bai, is a Somali-Canadian poet, performer and creative director. She shares with me her challenges as an artist. She is currently working on a poetry film series that addresses issues of social injustices, how to navigate through systemic racism and meaningful feel the effects of historical trauma of the Black communities.
