In this preach, Graeme Forbes tackles three passages from Mark 14 that challenge us in different ways. In Mark 14:1-11 Jesus has a meal at the home of Simon the Leper (possibly the one healed in Mark 1:40-45), and with his close friends, Martha, Mary and Lazarus (whom he had raised from the dead, John 11). His disciples are there, and probably Mark too. Mary (who loved to sit at the feet of Jesus - Luke 10:38-42) anointed Jesus with incredibly expensive oil. Some of the disciples, and especially Judas, were offended at this apparent waste.
