Im letzten Kapitel des Markusevangeliums wird kurz die Entdeckung der Auferstehung Jesu durch drei Frauen beschrieben. Als sie einen Leichnam einbalsamieren wollten, fanden sie ein leeres Grab vor, das von zwei Engeln bewacht wurde. Einer der Engel sagte den Frauen, sie sollten sich nicht fürchten, sondern zu den anderen Jüngern gehen und es ihnen sagen. Aber sie fürchteten sich und sagten es niemandem! Johannes berichtet (Johannes 20,2), dass sie nur sagten: "Jemand hat seinen Leib genommen!) Die Auferstehung von den Toten ist nichts, was spontan geschehen kann - sie muss einen Grund haben. Für uns ist sie der Beweis, dass es Gott gibt!

In the last chapter of Mark's Gospel, there is a short description of the discovery of Jesus' resurrection by three women. Expecting to embalm a body, they instead found an empty tomb guarded by two angels. One of these angels told the women to not be afraid, and to go and tell the other disciples. However, they were afraid, and told no-one! John tells us (John 20,2) that they simply said, 'Someone has taken his body!'). Resurrection from the dead is not something that can happen spontaneously - it has to have a cause. For us, it is proof that God exists.
