In this proposal the Cubs trade Marcus Stroman to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for 22 year old 3rd basemen Curtis Mead. Mead is ranked 3rd in the Rays farm system and is ranked Top 32 in the MLB prospect pipeline.
