I am granting permission today to keep empty drawers in our house. Our homes are filled with furniture and built-ins that contain drawers. We do not have to fill them! It is acceptable to have empty drawers. This is particularly helpful for our loved ones when they are tasked with clearing out our homes when God calls us home.
I have also found it beneficial to categorize similar items while emptying drawers. This method enabled me to ascertain the quantity of pencils, pens, sharpies, batteries, and similar objects I possess, which in turn helps me avoid unnecessary purchases.
