Hey there friends!
I've been missing in action the last few weeks. I apologize for that!
I've been busy renovating my house with my partner in crime and my dad. That's been consuming some time, for sure.
Alas, today I'm extremely excited because this episode is a fun conversation with Randy Frobel; front man for Canadian pop punk band We Were Sharks.
I've been listening to We Were Sharks for a few years now. They write incredibly well crafted, fun, and energetic pop punk tunes. Randy has a killer voice, and a distinct voice.
He's also in a cover band called The Young Bucs and we discuss what that's like.
We also talk about the creative process, writing tunes with Paul from Silverstein, navigating Covid, and continuing to make art into adulthood.
Because, why not? Shouldn't we keep making art? Isn't that the life-giving element? Creating stuff.
I loved this conversation. I love We Were Sharks. If you haven't heard them, please go check them out immediately.
So, without further ado, please enjoy this multi-dimensional convo with my new buddy Randy from We Were Sharks.
