Starr Sackstein’s book Hacking Assessment began a worldwide discussion on assessing students appropriately and questioned our traditional grading system. In 2012, Education Update named her an outstanding educator, and she achieved National Board Certification that year. Starr is a speaker, author, social media expert, consultant, and instructional coach.
