Dancing offers freedom of self that cannot be displayed in anything else we do as humans. Turning on your toes, getting into the air, and waltzing across a hardwood floor are all joys we can experience in the name of dancing without shame. As a choreographer, I’ve always enjoyed the rewards of teaching others to view themselves differently, so they take themselves to different places.
