What's up Kitchenerites? Who's ready for another awesome episode and a deep dive into one of Kitchener’s greatest slide players and song writers: MacKenzie "Mac" Jordan.
For years, Mac has been fronting his amazing band "Jackets" which blends his tasteful classic guitar tones, beautiful melodic vocal melody and harmony and rich and fat production values. If you haven't heard Jackets yet, we highly suggest that you go have a listen.
More recently, Mac has been working on new songs for his upcoming second album under the name "Cheap Shirt". He once again has masterfully crafted beautiful piano based melodies, instantly recognizable classic guitar tones, spacy arrangements and lush harmonies.
In this episode we dig into the catalysts of his career as a song writer, as a guitarist in his Allman Brothers tribute show "Eat a Peach" and other endeavors.
Take a journey with us as we dig into the life of one or our favorite local artists: MacKenzie Jordan.
