Jeffery Martin on the show, Jeffery is an author of 12 books and contributor to 7 poetry anthologies as well as script writer. His first book, “Weapon of Choice” won best book of poetry in the 2008 New Jersey Beach Book Festival. Last November ( 2019) he had the honor of interviewing professor/ activist Noam Chomsky and from that experience wrote a book of poems entitled, “Muse Moments: Poetry Inspired by Noam Chomsky.” Currently Jeffery Martin is working on both his first novel and a documentary about the influence of Black music on American culture from 1619 to the present day. Mr. Martin also has a podcast called, “Write A Way Podcast” where he and guests discuss writing, the arts and life experiences. He resides in California but considers himself a citizen of the world.
