Today our guest is Sharon Schaffer, a surfer and activist from Los Angeles, California. In this episode, we explore Sharon’s amazing life and dive into her unique perspective as the first Black woman in surf to go professional, her spirituality, as well as her experiences as one of the first Black actors working in Hollywood as a stunt double. It was amazing to hear her life story, as well as her opinion on the need for increased visibility of Black voices and leaders in our culture.
