One of the many things I resort to when I am in a bind is to go down memory lane. I cast my mind back to where I am coming from. I recall all the many times' God brought me through, and I draw strength to continue the journey. You see, I have been a recipient of God's goodness. I have been a partaker of His grace. I have tasted His mercy, and I have caught a glimpse of His glory.
I have seen enough in my short life to know:
* • God can be trusted
* • God is truly full of majesty
* • God is all power
* • God is good
* • God is able to save and deliver
I could go on, but I know you get the message. I have tasted the goodness of the Lord. I have seen the fellowship of His suffering; I see the glory that is to come. How can anyone be so sure you may ask? I have traversed some roads, and I have seen God show up that it is now difficult to convince me otherwise.
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, you his servants, the descendants of Abraham, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob. He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth. He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.” When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it, they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another. He allowed no one to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings: “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” (Psalms 105:1-15)
The same God who helped you before will do it again.
