Look Within
Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. (Genesis 1:11)
They needed to feed the crowd, and the disciples were lost. The master instructed, look within. The woman needed to pay the debts her husband had left her. The instruction was simple. Look within! God filled the earth with plants and put within the next generation. They were looking for the Father, and his reply was, ‘I am here.’
But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim (Romans 10:8)
The prophet needed to be fed; the widow had only two sticks. ‘That's more than enough’, he said. The children of Israel needed a saviour from the giant Goliath. Who showed up? One of them known for being in the bush! Did they need to import him? Hardly, he was already within earshot. They needed a deliverer from the terror of the Egyptians, who would be used: one of them. Tell me, what are your issues? Where are you expecting help to come from? Who are you hoping to come through the door?
You want a financial breakthrough; the Master insists you give the small you have. How will that help? You ask; It will show that you truly believe in the Masters' ability. You are looking for a child; the Word names it the fruit of the womb. Where is your womb? Within. You need power, guess what, the Holy Ghost lives in you, and what does he embody? Power. You need promotion; it will come from you solving a problem. Where will the wisdom come from? What would we employ? The gifts that are embedded within!
Do you get the picture? Whatever you are in search of the Lord already packaged it within. Jesus told us we already have all we need for life and Godliness. Everything is within. You have to look. All the medicine that will ever be invented is within. They already exist. We just haven't discovered them. The oil is within.
I ask again, what are you in need of? However, you answer, know this, the answer is already here! Why have I not seen it? You have not looked hard enough. How do I look? The Master will tell you - pray, fast, wait and meditate. Ask, seek and knock is still as relevant today as the day it was penned.
Hidden in the Word of God is all and everything you will ever desire. Get searching; the treasures are waiting to be found. When you dig, he will unlock for you all that the Master has kept hidden inside you.
