Description

It is a simple equation of CTFAR.

The five components of the Model are: • Circumstances • Thoughts • Feelings • Actions • Results.

CIRCUMSTANCES

Circumstances are things outside our control. These are facts, numbers, news, the weather, words said by people, things which can be proven in the court of law, something which everyone can agree on .

While we can’t control our circumstances, we can surely control what we think and how we feel and behave.

Thoughts

As humans, we give meaning to our circumstances through our thoughts, which are the sentences that are constantly running through our minds.

We can’t change our circumstances, but we can change our thoughts about them.

FEELINGS

Feelings are the emotions or vibrations we experience in our bodies, and they’re directly related to the thoughts we’re thinking.

Examples include anger, sadness, and excitement.

ACTIONS

Actions refer to behavior, reaction, or inaction, and they’re directly related to our feelings.

RESULTS

Results are the effects of our actions.

Choosing different actions will lead us to different results.
