I invite guests to share personal stories about acts of leadership that help shape their lives. In Episode 87, Ed Gash explains a phrase he learned and why the phrase is meaningful for how he leads. He then talks about feedback, how being nice and kind differ, and how cult and culture differ. Finally, Ed advises us on how we can treat ourselves better.

Prologue

Ed is a certified coach and has facilitated multiple workshops and sessions about leadership. He is the Chief Pathlighter and Guardian with EMG- Mourning Path, LLC. Named after his son, EMG supports students, grades 6-12 and first-year college students, in restoring their sense of self. In addition to coaching and training, Ed is also a voiceover artist.

In corporate America, there’s a strong movement of valuing employees and enabling them to become more effective contributors. Ed advises us how we can put a similar focus on how we treat ourselves. He also shares an insightful story about his son.
