I invite guests to share personal stories about acts of leadership that help shape their lives. In Episode 107, Dr. Jean Kanokogi shares three quotations that have helped guide how she lives her life. She then talks about specific leadership behaviors. Next, Dr. Jean advises us on how we can strengthen our leadership capabilities.
Prologue
With 23 years of law enforcement experience, Dr. Jean is a Senior Special Agent for the U.S. Government with extensive experience conducting criminal investigations. She is a 5th-degree black belt in judo and a highly respected sensei. She was on the U.S. national judo team, now known as USA Judo, and won several medals in international tournaments. Jean co-authored Get Up & Fight: the memoir of Rusty Kanokogi, The Mother of Women’s Judo. She also has authored numerous mental health and law enforcement-related articles in various professional publications.
