This episode is an interview with Laura. She lost her mom just 2 years ago, after her mom suffered several brain aneurisms and aspiration. They spent 8 weeks in more than 5 hospitals, and Laura is now learning how to live without her mom and best friend. Laura shares how she ran 1000 miles for Mama, and her fundraising campaign is still open! Here is the link if you would like to donate to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. September is Brain Aneurysm Awareness month! Laura’s mom had a fairly intense medical journey, and we discuss those details in todays episode. Please feel free to listen to another story if hearing these types of details may be triggering for you.
Laura's take-away: Be proactive with your grief. Take active steps to help yourself deal with your grief. Share your journey with others and find people who understand how you feel. GriefShare is a group that may help!
I'll be sharing details about an upcoming Book Club and the launch of my Permission to be YOU program soon Stay tuned for details.
