Description

In this episode, Miranda shares about the difficulty she experienced with becoming a mom while at the same time losing her own mom. Her mom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2011. Her mom died in 2019, shortly after MIranda gave birth to her first child. Miranda really struggled with anger, and found that grief therapy helped her realize that her mom is still a part of her life.

Miranda's Take-away: I felt really alone as I was entering motherhood at the same time as losing my own mom. I want others to know that it's ok to spend time on yourself, that therapy works, and you are not alone!
