Americana was a monsterous album for SoCal punk legends, The Offspring so why does it leave such a bad taste in my mouth?
Just like doughnuts, music is subjective but give me 50 minutes of your time and hear why this is probably the second worst Offspring album after Conspiracy of One. Imagine having a Conspiracy of One tattoo by the way. How do you explain that to your grandkids?
I read through a lot of reviews of this album to prepare myself for this episode and none of them mentioned Eiffel 65, Major Payne, David Guetta or Puddle of Mudd so we’re hear to fill that gap.

p.s - I didn't get to talk about She's Got Issues and how terrible that drum beat is in the chorus. Have a listen. The footwork is too busy. Keep it simple. There's a MIDI version on Youtube that's better. Only single that didn't make their Greatest Hits. No good.
