Description

Just like habits, trends are likely to continue, until they change. The trend is your friend until it ends. A valid trend has a minimum of two touch points connecting peaks (or troughs). The more points that touch the trend line and the longer the trend, the more powerful the trend is, the more it is expected to last, and the more important it is when it is broken. History repeats itself. If not, it rhymes.

Trends can be broken down to the primary trend (months or years), the secondary/intermediate trend (months - weeks), the minor/short term trend (days) and the Daily/intraday trend (hours or minutes).  There are 3 types of trends: up(ward), down(ward) or sideways trends (trading range).
