High tide just announced that they acquired 80% of Fab Nutrition for $20.64 million. This acquisition came with a three-year option to acquire the remaining 20% of Fab at any time. In the past they’ve taken similar steps by acquiring other companies of similar size. What they seek to do with their strategy is to expand their footprint in the United States market by selling products that are already federally legal, which will therefore allow the company to drive profitability without having to wait for legalization. They also said they were currently In talks with many other companies for acquisitions, meaning we have many catalysts coming down the line.
