Kepochi Heart: Psst, psst, why don’t you just give up on everything? Don’t you realize that this pandemic has triggered the worst job crisis, businesses are struggling to operate, employees got retrenched, increase in poverty.... in short, it’s chaos! Chaos!
Peaceful Heart: Astaghfirullah! Just because there's a storm in life, it doesn’t negate the presence of God and His Merciful attributes. If you believe in God, nothing is beyond Him. He reminds us in Quran (verse 2:216); ‘But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you and Allah Knows, while you know not’. And if you forget why He created life, it is because the Quran (verse 67:2) states ‘Allah has created death and life to test which one of you is best in deeds. And dear soul, He reassures us that ‘Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear’, (verse 2:286). Hang in there, better days are coming and tough times won’t last. InsyaAllah.
