Description

Usually when we talk about different habits and attitudes when it comes to money in a marriage, we tend to think in terms of who is the "spender" and who is the "saver" in the relationship. Not today!

In this episode, we discuss at length the difference between spouses that, in my experience, is actually more common than spending/saving differences. I share an exercise to complete with your spouse to determine how aligned you are in this area, and give you a handful of strategies to consider as you implement a financial plan in your family that addresses both of your needs.

Because while we often think of the two sides of this argument as opposites... in reality, you need both in your financial plan. By the end of this episode, you'll have a ton of ideas for how to make this a reality for your family and improve your coordination with your spouse in managing your money toward both your short and long term aspirations.
