The gathering of the 144,000 – those who now choose to be
coming out of the great tribulation, the bondservants of Christ, those who are now overcoming, the two witnesses – those caused to have been purchased from the earth. The imagery of the Lamb is a message of sacrifice. The 144,000 must follow in His footsteps. They gather on Mount Zion, a symbol of hope, victory, safety, grace, mercy, acceptance, belonging, forgiveness, deliverance, perfection, and community.
Even now they have the name of the Lamb and the Father
written on their foreheads—they NOW bear the name. They now sing a new song, never before sung. No one could be caused to learn the song except the 144,000. They clearly have dual existence: on earth and they have a place in the heavenly realms—what believers do is done before the Father.
The 144,000 are virgins (reserved exclusively for Jesus),
they have not served or worshipped other gods. They have rejected the harlot and have not been caused to be defiled with other so called spiritual sources of enlightenment, especially the Religion of Christianity that is obsessed with the “work of our hands.”
