We are commanded to worship the Creator and not the creation
for we are to have no other God before Yahweh. God has been active in His creation and it is self-evident, giving us a reason to worship Him.
The Angel who offers mercy from idolatry commands us to let
God cause us to fear Him, for His hour of judgment is at hand – the hour to decide what to do with Him. If we are willing, then our natural response will be to give God glory, and if we give Him glory for what He created, we will find that we will worship Him.
The “eternal good news” announces that each person, at a minimum, must decide if they will honor Him as the Creating one “who had been making the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.”
