We have now come to the center piece of the text with the apostasies of Cain, Balaam, and Korah. The Spirit uses a triad of Old Testament examples of apostasy as a picture and a WARNING and as a sign which gives us insight into the meaning of the infamous and mysterious 666 –the number of the Beast.
