The angel who announces the consequences of following the
Beast. God’s wrath has been prepared in “full strength” and it is ready and waiting to be poured out on those who now receive the mark of the Beast. Once marked, a person’s fate is sealed. There is no turning back and no redemption or forgiveness available for this choice. This is the “unforgivable sin.”
The consequences are eternal. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. Their torment starts now. They NOW have no rest, those who NOW are worshipping the Beast and his image, and whoever NOW receives the mark of his name.
Refusing the mark is the endurance of the saints to avoid the slippery slope of apostasy.
