The purpose of all things is fulfilled. The entire Biblical narrative is about this one moment, the marriage supper or the Lamb. From before time, from the beginning, the Father sought to provide His Son a true bride, a woman who would choose Him and love the One who was sacrificed for her (the Lamb).
The wedding process has begun, the dowry (from the wife to the groom) and the mohar (from the groom to the wife) have been exchanged. The rapture of the church is when the groom comes for His bride and brings her into the home He has prepared.
Those of the bride know it was not about their works, but about His grace and righteousness, and so they choose Him and made themselves ready through their willingness to let Jesus be their I AM.
