The famous cry “come Lord Jesus,” provides multiplecommands directed at Jesus and directed at those who are now hearing, now thirsting, and now willing. This cry is an invitation for Jesus to come and invade our now, and do what is necessary in our now, to secure those who are Called and Chosen and Faithful such that they become identified as the bride of Christ. Jesus says that He chooses to now come quickly, and He in turn then commands the one who is now thirsting and now willing to come to Him and He will come to them.
