The 24 Elders fall on their faces and, in their role as
priests, give thanks for what was and what will be. They praise Him for being
the Lord, the one from whom all things come, and God, the first
and the last, the Alpha and Omega, the great I AM, and the Almighty,
whom no one can thwart—for He who now is being.
They give a 7-fold thanks for: His great power, because He
has reigned, which angered the nations, and His wrath came, and the time for
the dead to be judged, to reward those who belong to Him, and to destroy those
who now destroy the earth.
All of this occurs with the
blowing of the 7th Trumpet that removes the bondservants of God and
ushers in the time of Yahweh’s wrath. His rewards will be given to the
bondservants (the prophets—or 2 witnesses), the holy ones-- the Old Testament
believers who lived by faith and trusted themselves to Yahweh, and those
who God caused to be fearing His name. Then He begins to destroy those who are
now destroying the earth.
For some the “Time is Up” (it is time for judgment), and for others who have been waiting on Yahweh
to enter their eternal Sabbath, “The Time
is Now!”
