Yahweh asks us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, letting Him do what He needs to do and slay what He needs to slay to secure and stabilize us in Him as one of the chosen. All He wants is our willingness. “Willingness” is a free will offering. It is not a duty, compulsion, or obligation; rather, it is a relational reciprocation to the invitation He has extended for us to be transformed into the image of the Son. And Yahweh Shalom makes us safe and has bound us in peace despite the mess that results from our willingness to b a sacrifice. Always we are safe with the Father, we are safe with the Son, and we are safe with the Holy Spirit.
