You were so excited to start your business, and you couldn’t wait until you shared it with all your friends and family. If telling them was nerve-racking enough, then you had to venture out to share with others, strangers, and you were overcome by FEAR. Fear of looking foolish, you are out there trying to prospect and connect with people, and that old familiar thought creeps into your head… what do they think of me? I am not as good as…, or nobody will listen to me. We have all been there and still struggle with it from time to time. It can hold us back from excelling in our business and having that deep relationship with God.
Let me introduce you to my guest, Pastor Elaine.
Pastor Elaine is from the Sacramento area. Adopted at birth, she attended church whenever the doors were open. However, being sexually abused throughout most of her childhood. Elaine grew up with a warped view of God and a warped view of herself.
Her teenage years were full of acting out and substance abuse. Pastor Elaine came to know Jesus Christ personally at 21 but still suffered emotionally. Mental health services were not readily approved of in the church, and she did not get adequate help until almost 30 years of age.
Since that time, Pastor Elaine has been called to do ministry and effectiveness training to the hurting within the body of Christ. She learned through her own experiences that combining spirituality with mental health education can help people find healing and freedom.
Pastor Elaine earned both her BA and MA in psychology CSU Sacramento. She is a state-licensed marriage and family therapist, author, identity coach, and speaker trainer.
Join us as Pastor Elaine shares how to honor God by YOU being YOU. The incredible person God created you as. Stop trying to fit into someone else’s box and come hear her incredible story and about her passion to help people understand their identity. Hear how you can honor God by being YOU!
