Kevin McCarthy is not a sadist, he's a masochist. A glutton for punishment, Kevin subjected himself to an extra three rounds of getting punched in the dick on live television. The votes never changed. 212 for Jeffries. 201 for McCarthy, 20 for Donalds (the Never Kevin vote) and 1 abstaining. Three votes, same result, no movement.
Last night and this morning, Kevin is pulling out all the stops trying to appeal to the extremes within his own caucus. Amazingly, not once is there a report of him trying to make a deal with the Dems. I think it's telling he is trying to work with crazy rather than the Dems.
