Legendary Scottish Football manager and current Provost of the Kingdom of Fife; Jim Leishman joined us on the Bishy PE Podcast. Jim was another excellent guest who spoke about his experiences at school and growing up. We spoke to him about the highs and lows of his playing career which included one particular highlight of being the last Dunfermline player to score a winning goal against Rangers at Ibrox. Jim's managerial career started earlier than expected as a result of a disappointing football injury. Furthermore, we learn of his managerial experiences with some excellent stories from his time with Dunfermline (twice), Livingston and Kelty Hearts. Jim told us some excellent stories from individual players to fantastic memories of Livingston in Europe and managing his beloved Dunfermline Athletic. Finally, we hear about how he became a politician and then Provost of Fife as well as a memorable occasion when receiving an MBE from the Queen.
