This week we were joined by Scottish female sport star and Team GB Olympian Katie Archibald. Katie was a wonderful guest who was very open and honest about her school and professional career. She spoke at length about her time at school, highlighting some of her best memories and role models from that time. She discuss why she made a jump from Swimming to Cycling before informing of us of her successful Cycling journey whereby we hear of one special highlight of career when winning Gold in the Team Pursuit in Rio 2016. Katie also made reference to particular aspects of our certificated courses as well as some fantastic advice for our young pupils regardless of the career they choose. We thank Katie for giving up her time to join us and wish her all the success in the future. Special mention and well done to our co-host this week Eve who is one of our Active School Captains & current Advanced Higher students.
