It's a knockout guest this week on the Bishy PE Podcast. We have the Unified WBA, IBF & Ring Magazine Light-Welterweight Champion of the World; Josh Taylor. A sensational guest to sign off this term with, Josh discussed what his time at school was like and growing up in Prestonpans near Edinburgh. The current Champion of the World told us about some of the jobs he had when he was younger with the dream of being a boxing world champion quite a time away. From being picked on at school and his admiration for former Scottish boxer Alex Arthur, Josh came across boxing after a brief stint at Taekwondo. Well into the interview Josh discussed some of the highlights and low points of his career which included an incredible message about never giving up and having no regrets in anything that you do. We found out what his most challenging and difficult fight was as well as an insight into the training of a world champion. Additionally, Josh highlighted the importance of Visualisation and the Law of Attraction as key drivers in his training and motivation. Lastly, Josh informs us of how his training is going and his expectations for the upcoming fight in Las Vegas on May 22nd. We hope you enjoy watching/listening as much as we did recording yet another fantastic episode of the Bishy PE Podcast. Huge thanks to Josh for taking time out his schedule and being able to join us. All the best for May 22nd.
