The Bishopbriggs Academy PE department caught with Sports Broadcaster and Presenter, Eilidh Barbour. Eilidh told us about her childhood memories growing up in Dunkeld, Perthshire. We spoke about her journey into Sports Media, the importance of perseverance and hard work as well as her year abroad teaching English in South Korea. Eilidh informed us about some of her career highlights which included travelling over the world covering events such as; Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in 2018, 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France, taking over as the main presenter of the BBC's golf coverage and becoming the presenter for the first Premier League match to be shown on Amazon Prime Video. We found out about some of her favourite people to interview and who was the biggest pain in the neck between Chris Sutton and Kris Boyd. Eilidh was a truly fantastic guest to have on our podcast and we can't thank her enough for giving up her time.
