The Bishopbriggs Academy PE department sat down with British Judo No.1 and 2014 Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Kimberley Renicks. Kimberley was a captivating guest who spoke openly and at length about her rollercoaster career in Judo. We found out about her time at school and the childhood memories she has. Additionally, Kimberley discussed a number of highlights and set backs in her career; from Commonwealth Gold to missing 3 consecutive Olympic Games due to a vote, injury and the Coronavirus. Her story is a perfect example of never giving up on your goals as she now turns her attentions to Tokoyo next year followed by the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022.
