This week is all about taking the word “uncultured” out of our vocabularies. Let’s face it, everyone has a culture; think about it, culture is a set of values and beliefs that people practice daily and on special occasions! So, let’s be more mindful and receptive of everyone’s cultures and traditions, and maybe we’ll be inspired to take something from each one we learn about! I am so very grateful and blessed to have the traditions my Italian culture has provided me, but I’m also incredibly proud to have my American traditions as well! So let’s celebrate those cultures that all help make America great:) Ask your friend or neighbor some of their traditions and notice the common themes between them... you might be surprised!
