SUMMARY
Travis Stoetzel is a former CrossFit athlete and regional CrossFit competitor. He runs The Forged Father, which used to be The Forged Athlete, and has a strong online following. His work ethic has been consistent over the past decade. Travis went to college and played football and baseball, but quit baseball during his sophomore year. After his dream of making it big in the NFL as a 5'7 70-pound white guy didn't come true, he went on to become a strength and conditioning coach.
Travis was instilled with a strong work ethic and tenacity by his father, who was a hard worker. After college, he began working at the gym, but left after a year and a half to start his own gym, the Forged Athlete. He also participated in a bodybuilding competition and won his category.
In 2011, Travis got involved with CrossFit, reigniting his competitive drive. After competing for several years, he made it to the CrossFit Games in 2018 as a Master's athlete. Now, with four daughters and a son on the way, he no longer competes but instead focuses on running his online fitness program, the Forged Father, which includes a team of coaches and an amazing community of guys. He has 30-40 different programs across various modalities.
