Unity
Eph 4:4-7
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
What a beautiful passage! This is the reason that everyone who believes in Jesus and has accepted Him as their Lord and Savior can stand united. This is the most important thing. But when you think of the word unity, does the church even come to mind?
Jesus prayed to His Father for all of His followers to be unified in the same way that He and His Heavenly Father are unified. Complete unity. How are we doing with that? It has to break His heart to see how far we have strayed from His desire. How can we become the Church that God desires?
