Romans 13:1-14
Submit in Love
In Romans 13 Paul talks about a topic that very few enjoy. He has spent the last chapter defining the Christian life. Who we should be and how we should live in this world. Now he transitions to the role of Government in this world and how followers of Jesus should interact with those in authority. Paul talks about submission but not in a negative way. The ideas of submission and authority are very important throughout scripture. And it all begins with you and I submitting to God as Lord of our lives.
